Hello,

My name is Natalya, and I am a passionate lover of somatic work! As an Ayurveda therapist and a holistic movement educator, I've been crystallising my intention on this path over the last 14 years, studying and practicing the skills to support it in India, Sri Lanka, Poland and The Netherlands. My passion was already sparked in my childhood, captivating my spirit in dance, acrobatics and wushu martial art. My first yoga postures came from my grandmother, along with the magic of herbs, nutrition and a healing touch. But it was until 20 years ago, during my early ashtanga-vinyasa practice, when I caught a tune of balance, between my ambitious willpower and elusive inner peace.

My first yoga teacher leaned towards me in an intense inverted posture, and warmly asked: "Where is your smile?". A sweet revelation, inviting the love-song of movement beyond effort, away from the mental and physical hunt for the next challenge. Here I am now, believing in movement that is nourished by breath, by open senses, by the joy of movement itself, igniting our life-force and inner intelligence, with a 'smile behind the eyes'.

Kalari inspired Vinyasa Yoga

What can you expect?

We will practice dynamic vinyasa series infused with elements of ancient Indian martial art of Kalariphayatthu (Kalari, in short), accessible to all levels. The focus is on breath, balance, and grace. Through energetic yet meditative Kalari salutations, spinal stretches, and chest openers, we will carry Prana (vital force) to the spots of emotional and physical tightness.

Kalari animals postures from South Indian wild will sync us into the rhythm of nature. We will embody the free-spirited beasts to sharpen our subtle senses, the awareness, the relationship with the Self.  Can we tap into new qualities, learning from spatial alertness of a Fish or from open and grounded presence of a Peacock?
